Here are some delicious fresh juice recipes that are very easy to do using basic fruits and vegetables. Before attempting to juice please thoroughly wash the produce and peel the skin off the oranges and lemons. All the portions below are based on a 16oz serving, if you’re making more or less please adjust accordingly.

Carrot, Apple, Ginger
2 Whole Apples
4 Carrots (Medium to large in size)
1 Inch of Ginger

This is a classic combination that is absolutely delicious.

Orange, Apple, Pear
1 ½  Apple
2 Oranges
2 Pears

Kids will love this combination. All their favorite fruits blended together to create a sweet, nutrient rich fresh juice.

Pineapple, Apple, Mint
½ Pineapple
2 ½ Apples
6-8 Mint Leaves

You’ll get a smooth sweet tasting juice with a hint of mint. Remember to peal the skin off the pineapple before juicing.

Apple, Celery, Kale, Lemon, Ginger
2 Apples
1 Stalk of Celery
2 Leaves Kale
1 Lemon
1 Inch Ginger

This is a green juice that’s a bit more complicated than the previous recipes, but you can do it. Just follow these simple instructions. When juicing tough greens such as kale you want to push it through a little bit at a time chasing it with something that has more liquid content, such as apple or celery in this case. So take a leaf of kale and put into the mouth of the juicer but don’t let it hit the blade just yet. Now take about a quarter of an apple or two sticks of celery, place it on top of kale, and push it through the blade.

Carrot, Kale, Parsley, Spinach, Romaine Lettuce
8 Carrots
2 Leaves of Kale
1 Leaf Romaine
¼ Bunch of Parsley (Parsley is strong so just a hint will do)
1 Handful of Spinach

This is another green juice but with a carrot base. Juice the greens here the same way as previous green juice. A little bit of the green veggies first then chase it with a carrot. Repeat until the juice is complete.

Can you do this with a blender?

For best results you should do it with a juicer. A juicer extracts the liquids and removes the fiber(pulp).

A blender just mashes it up and keeps everything in one container. You can try straining it after to only get the juice.
